Salem Said Al Wahaibi

Chairman

Mr. Salem Said Al Wahaibi is a keen businessman with over 24 years of work experience in various businesses

He has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Oman Football Association - 2016 (www.ofa.om)
He is the Vice Chairman of Assarain Group of Companies (www.assarain.com) which is one of the major, most reputed business houses in the Sultanate. Founded in 1975, Assarain Group is widely diversified, engaged in real estate, construction, manufacturing, trading, investment, contracting, insurance, furnishing/interior decoration, retail and healthcare services.
Mr. Al Wahaibi has had the opportunity to serve as a member of Majlis A’Shura, and is privileged to be a member of the prestigious State Council, the upper house of the Council of Oman that contributes to economic and social development, and works for closer co-operation between the government and the public.
He has served on the Boards of many banking and non-banking institutions like Bank Muscat, Oman International Bank, Oman United Insurance Co., Oman Investment & Finance Co. and National Life Insurance Co.
An ardent sports enthusiast, Mr. Al Wahaibi has held several positions in various Sports Bodies in the Sultanate of Oman. In his capacity as the Vice Chairman of Oman Football Association, he was part of the team that placed Oman Football on the global map.

Ahmed Saleh Baabood

Executive Chairman

Mr. Ahmed Saleh Baabood has been involved in the exhibitions, conferences and events industry for over 22 years.

He sits on the boards of several local and regional companies involved in construction, electrical trading and electro mechanical projects, IT, telecoms sector and many more.
